Promotional film for Skegness as a holiday resort showing the range of activities and attractions available.

A family are seen receiving a Littlewoods pools cheque. They plan to go on holiday to their usual resort of Skegness but this time they're able to 'do it in style'. We cut to Skegness where we see the same family enjoying various attractions: beach and Tower Esplanade; the Vine Hotel at Seacroft; shops on Lumley Road including the Co-op store; the Tower café; crown green bowling; Butlin's amusement park; Skegness regatta; the boating lake. We then see Councillor Mrs Barrett and other local dignitaries travelling by amphibious vehicle to HMS Belton. Back to the attactions we see the pier; donkey rides; the exteriors of various hotels; putting green; at the outdoor swimming pool a beauty contest and Skegness poster-boy look-a-like contest are underway; the family visit the Welcome Inn pub; and we also see the YMCA facilities; and the attractions available at Butlin's holiday camp. Continuing their holiday the family have a flight by light aircraft over the caravan park; play mini golf; and we also see the miniature railway; a variety show and fire work display; visit the caravan park and see wrestling at the Festival Centre. Special events are also shown: the Skegness carnival parade; and a visit by ABC Television to broadcast a live edition of Holiday Town Parade from the Embassy Ballroom.
